Pigment Studies: Dartmoor Rivers
These are pigment studies focused on the rivers of Dartmoor. I collect pigments from pebbles found in the rivers and create ‘contact sheets’ that showcase the pigments found in one location. I'm interested in exploring the richness of a small place and how different locations are connected through their colours.

Double Waters: Tavyside
29 stones collected in a radius of approximately 1 metre.
The Location: Double Waters, where the river Tavy and the river Walkham meet on the edge of Dartmoor.

A contact sheet: A collection of all the colours collected in the chosen spot. Each stone is half a row, painted in varying shades and labelled.
